Luxury Cave Resort by Praveg Limited is a conservation project in which Praveg has acquired a new land lease for Cave Resort development in Jawai, Rajasthan. The project uses Jawai’s scenic beauty by creating a one-of-a-kind luxury cave room structure. The new resort by Praveg is on a lease of 30 years. They have a 12-month rent-free period to facilitate the setup. The resort will have 20 units, including 12 luxury cave-type rooms and 8 elegant tents.
The other amenities include a restaurant, bar, and a swimming pool offering a distinctive safari experience. It is designed to be a vibrant cultural hub blending Rajasthani culture, dance, art, and cuisine, appealing to the people all around the world. The government of India launched this, focusing on providing safe and adequate drinking water to every household in Jawai, in the Pali region, facing significant water scarcity issues due to the arid climate and drying up of water sources. The pipeline development project under this enhances water security by providing water to over 333 villages and a few towns of Pali.
Jawai Pipeline Development
The Jawai Pipeline Development is a unique Jawai conservation project aimed at improving water supply and distribution in Pali, Rajasthan. 50%-60% of water drawn from Jawai Dam gets lost due to pilferage and seepage. The aim of the project was to provide water to the towns of Pali and nearby areas facing acute water shortages with the water saved with the pipeline project. The project aims to cover 333 villages and 3 towns of Pali. As per a meeting held on 5th October 2005, the project was divided into five packages, giving ease of implementation and suiting cash flow requirements.
The pipeline project enhances water management and increases efficiency while ensuring equitable access to water resources. Reducing dependence on traditional groundwater sources, it prevents over-extraction and improves environmental sustainability.
